Book Name: Teaching Organic Farming & Gardening
Writer: Martha Brown
Description
Showing Organic Farming and Gardening: Resources for Instructors was first delivered in
2003 because of the numerous solicitations from
those keen on the educational plan offered every year by
the Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture (see page
vi) through the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable
Food Systems (CASFS, the Center) at the University of
California, Santa Cruz. A second release with refreshed
data and assets followed in 2005.
Since its distribution and web-based posting, the preparation
the manual has seen across the board use in study halls and
ranch fields from California to Vermont, just as
globally. School and college instructors, apprenticeship educators, Master Gardener mentors, and
different educators have utilized the talks, hands-on activities, and supporting material to show essential natural
cultivating and planting abilities, alongside the ideas
of soil science and social issues as they identify with supportable horticulture.
