The vast majority of the lower floor of the new structure is involved by the library.
On the lower floor of the 1950 structure, the Legal Clinic will come back to its unique home. The subsequent floor will incorporate workplaces for the Dean, Career Services, Development and Alumni Affairs, and Public Affairs. The foyer connecting these workplaces will ignore the Commons. Most staff workplaces will be on the third floor of the 1950 structure.
The merging of the old and the new completely satisfy the guidelines set by the Building Committee in 1989-90 when Committee Chair Patrick Hardin and his partners started tending to the College’s physical requirements for what’s to come.
