This book rose up out of a long arrangement of discussions between

its co-creators, their nearby partners, and numerous others—the

sort of discussions that bring individuals closer to the core of a

a common concern, give them new eyes to see both the issues

what’s more, conceivable outcomes, and set up for taking inventive action. Like numerous instructors we know, we attended a university chasing

knowledge as well as a feeling of significance and reason for our

lives. The two of us had great instructors who helped thusly,

also, we sought to become instructors of that sort. Yet, right off the bat in

our scholarly professions, we found that the disciplinary storehouses wherein

we had been instructed—and the fragmentary and dividing

suspicions about information and humankind that regularly lay behind
