THE INDUS or the Harappan culture solder than the chalcolithic societies which have been dealt with before, however, it is far more developed than these societies. It emerged in the north-western aspect of the Indian subcontinent. It is called Harappan because this human advancement was found first in 1921at the cutting edge site of Harappa arranged in the province of West Punjab in Pakistan.
