Book Name: The Curious Incident of the Dog
Writer: Mark Haddon
It was 7 minutes after 12 PM. The canine was lying on the grass in the yard
before Mrs. Shears’ home. Its eyes were shut. It looked as though it was
running on its side, the manner in which canines run when they think they
are pursuing a feline in a fantasy. In any case, the canine was not running
or snoozing. The canine was dead. There was a nursery fork standing out of
the canine. The purpose of the fork is probably to go completely through the
canine and into the ground in light of the fact that the fork had not fallen
over. I concluded that the canine was presumably executed with the fork
since I was unable to perceive some other injuries in the canine and I don’t
figure you would stick a nursery fork into a canine after it had passed on
for some other explanation, like I experienced Mrs. Shears’ door, shutting it
behind me. I strolled onto her yard and stooped next to the canine. I put my
hand on the gag of the canine. It was still warm. The canine was called
Wellington. It had a place with Mrs. Shears, who was our companion. She
lived on the contrary roadside, two houses to one side. malignant growth,
for instance, or a street mishap. Be that as it may, I was unable to be sure about this.
