biography,” while completely archiving Schutz’s connections with
philosophical and sociological partners had forgotten about a lot of his

anonymous. To cure that shortfall, I set out after composing this biography,
seeking to reveal the “emotional action,” i.e., the true to life doings,
underlying the “goal implications” that establish the hypothetical work of
Schutz.
