Three years after the demise of Queen Cleopatra, a Greek explorer from Amisea in Pontus on the Black Sea showed up in Egypt. His name was Strabo, the Squint-eyed, and he was there on the staff of Greece’s praefectus (lead representative), Gaius CorneliusGallus.
