Description

Marley was dead: regardless. There is no uncertainty whatever about that. The register of his internment was marked by the pastor, the assistant, the funeral director, and the main griever. Penny pincher marked it. Also, Scrooge’s name was acceptable upon ‘Change, for anything he decided to put his hand to.

Old Marley was as dead as an entryway nail.

Psyche! I don’t intend to state that I know, of my own insight, what there is especially dead about an entryway nail. I may have been slanted, myself, to see a final resting place nail as the deadest bit of ironmongery in the exchange. Be that as it may, the astuteness of our precursors is in the analogy; and my unhallowed hands will not upset it, or the Country’s accomplished for. You will accordingly allow me to rehash, vehemently, that Marley was as dead as an entryway nail.
