Description

When Maud Marsh flings herself into George Bevan’s taxi in Piccadilly, he begins trusting in maidens in distress.George follows his strange making a trip ally to Belpher Castle, home of Lord Marshmoreton, where things become seriously obfuscated. Maud’s auntie, Lady Caroline Byng, needs Maud to wed Reggie, her progression child. Maud, in the interim, is known to be enamored with an obscure American she met in Wales. So when George turns up speaking American, a dreadful instance of mixed up personality breaks out. Indeed the scene is set for the ideal Wodehouse parody of blunders.
