A History of Franciscan Education (C. 1210-1517)

Description

This work expects to be a brief yet including a handbook on the history of instruction in the primary request of Friars Minor during the medieval period (until 1517). It is a succinct work in that it does not contain extensive diversions on sub-points and, whenever the situation allows, refers the peruser in the references to increasingly itemized examinations. The decision to concise was an intentional one, inspired both by my own thoughts concerning the perfect length of basic academic work and by the marketing strategies of the distributer. Compact as it might be, this work is meant to be incorporating too. It tries to delineate the emergency and the improvement of the schools in the different request provinces throughout the later medieval period.
