A Routine Operation

On March 29, 2005, Martin Bromiley woke up at 6:15 a.m. what’s more, he made his

path to the rooms of his two little youngsters, Victoria and Adam, to get

them prepared for the afternoon. It was a stormy spring morning, a couple of days after Easter,

also, the children were upbeat as they ran down the stairs for breakfast. A couple of

minutes after the fact, they were joined by Elaine, their mom, who had grabbed a couple of

additional minutes in bed.

Elaine, a vivacious thirty-seven-year-old who had worked in the movement

industry before turning into a full-time mother had a major day ahead: she was expected

in the emergency clinic.
