Book Name: Down’s Syndrome Biography
Writer: David Wright
Description
In the fall of 1967, I was exposed to a clinical experiment. My dad was a postgraduate occupant in peri-dentistry at the University of Toronto, and his young family (my mom, my two more established siblings matured 5 and 6, and I) lived in a leased house on Balliol Street, in the northern piece of what was then rapidly astounding Montreal as Canada’s biggest city. Evidently, the then educator of hereditary qualities at the University of Toronto had heard the news that my dad’s fourth youngster, my more youthful sister Susan (conceived in August of that year), had been determined to have Mongolism, what might later be called Down’s (or Down) Syndrome.
