Description
My name is J.D. Vance, and I think I
should begin with an admission: I discover the
presence of the book you hold in your
hands to some degree ludicrous. It says right
there on the spread that it’s a journal, however
I’m thirty-one years of age, and I’ll be the
first to concede that I’ve achieved
nothing incredible in my life, absolutely nothing
that would legitimize a total outsider
paying cash to find out about it. The
the coolest thing I’ve done, in any event on
paper is moving on from Yale Law
School, something thirteen-year-old J.D.
Vance would have thought about over the top.
In any case, around 200 individuals do the
same thing consistently, and trust me, you
try not to need to find out about a large portion of their
lives. I am not a representative, a senator, or a
previous bureau secretary. I haven’t
begun a billion-dollar organization or a
world-evolving philanthropic. I have decent work, an upbeat marriage, an agreeable
home, and two vivacious canines.
So I didn’t compose this book in light of the fact that
I’ve achieved something
remarkable.
