At some point around 1525 BCA little island in the Aegean Sea in a real

sense lay under a haze of fate. and It was the volcanic island of Thera and its

volcano had started one of its and intermittent ejections. The vast majority of

the island’s inhabitants had and just deserted their Bronze Age city, referred to

modern archeologists as Akrotiri.
