The book contends that the post-pilgrim state in Malaysia has been more fruitful in incorporating its command over Islamic instruction, and more worried about advancing a prohibitive universality, contrasted with the post-frontier state in Indonesia. This is because of three factors: the philosophical cosmetics of the state establishments that regulate Islamic instruction; examples of cultural Islamisation that have provoked various reactions from the states; and control of assets by the focal government that impacts community outskirts relations.
