Miriam Allen deFord was a suffragette, women’s activist, and Fortean who turned out to be better known for her sci-fi, genuine wrongdoing, and secret composition after the 1940s. Her short fiction has been generally anthologized; she additionally altered a collection of stories blending sci-fi in with secret called Space, Time, and Crime.
