It is a delight to see the twentieth commemoration of my 1994 Science Teachingbook being praised by the distribution of a refreshed and extended version. The book has remained in print for a long time, which recommends that it has some merit. The scholarly foundation of the book is portrayed in the accompanying 1994Preface. Pleasingly, on the off chance that philosophical contentions are any acceptable, at that point, they retain their merit for quite a while. Having ‘philosophical legitimacy’ is, obviously, not the same as ‘being right’, however, it implies being sufficiently clear to empower readers to see where the errors are (this issue of clearness in correspondence and argument will be something come back to in Chapter 12).
