On 5 December 1893, the ringer of Harrow School Chapel was ringing for one of the school lead representatives, a Professor Tindall, who had passed on the day preceding. Only thirty feet from the chime tower, over the street, lived George TownsendWarner, an associate ace at the school, and his young spouse Nora, who fell into labor at the disturbing sound of the ring.
