The Big Headache

This is a period piece, composed during the most recent long stretches of the mash time. I was 26 out of 1959, and some sci-fi magazines were as yet in the old recognizable mash magazine style of around seven by nine inches, for example, Science Fiction Quarterly… Because of a medical condition, I had minimal conventional instruction. In any case, I read a ton and thought a great deal and envisioned a ton. I turned into a sci-fi author. The Contested Earth was my first sci-fi novel. I had composed various novelettes and short stories and offered a decent number to the previously mentioned SF Quarterly and more to one of the main SF magazines, Galaxy. The supervisor there, H. L. Gold, was extraordinarily steady of a high school author.
