The blue radiance was shot through with minuscule violet starts, the sharp scent of ozone noticeable all around was smothering; the warmth of squandered vitality was making the room more sizzling. The force expanded further, and the minuscule flashes were waving decorations, that bound over the outside of the blue fire. Little flies of electric fire connected along the light emission beam now. At long last, as full intensity of the atomic beam was reached, the whole corona was covered under a mass of squirming flashes that appeared to jump very high over the man’s head, faltering up to termination.
