The Stories of John Cheever is a 1978 short story assortment by American creator John Cheever. It contains a portion of his most well known stories, including “The Enormous Radio,” “Farewell, My Brother,” “The Country Husband,” “The Five-Forty-Eight” and “The Swimmer.” It won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the National Book Critics Circle Award in 1979; the soft cover variant won the American Book Award for Fiction in 1981.
