t down to make a pursuit. Thus, in a short time, we happened upon two containers which the bo’sun tore open with an ax. These barrels were sound and tight, and in them was boat’s bread, excellent and fit for food. At this, as might be envisioned, we felt facilitated in our brains, realizing that there was no quick dread of starvation. Following this, we found a barrel of molasses; a container of rum; a few instances of dried organic product – these were rotten and scant fit to be eaten; a container of salt meat, another of pork; a little barrel of vinegar; an instance of liquor; two barrels of flour- – one of which end up being clammy struck; and a lot of fat plunges.
