For quite a long time, I have been spellbound by the to some degree clear
connections between the scriptural record of Exodus and the movement of
the Thebans that departed with Akhenaten to his new city, Akhetaten

me, I never faltered in excusing Ramesses II and different pharaohs that
had been credited to the Exodus folklore; I had, for reasons unknown that I
can not truly clarify, a serious fascination toward the House of Pharaoh
Amenhotep III. For me, it was as clear as glass.
