huge climate inflatables and a tank of helium. He exploded the inflatables, appended them
to a folding chair (which he briefly moored to his Jeep), stuffed a BB weapon and
a few sandwiches, and cut the tying down strings.
Larry’s dispatch climbed quicker and higher than he expected, and in an issue
of minutes, he rose to a height of 11,000 feet! Presently frightened about shooting out
any of the inflatables at such a high height, Larry kept awake there, cruising around for
fourteen hours.
In the end he floated into the
approach passage for the Los Angeles
Universal Airport. A PanAm pilot
radioed the pinnacle about passing a person in
a folding chair who had a weapon in his lap.
